What I do is put more makeup than you normally do. This means that more foundation, blush, much darker lips and black eyeliner.

Buy the book Making Faces by Kevyn Aucoin. This was a makeup artist and the famous book of samples of different types of makeup. You can read more about wikipedia.com on the link below.
